Job Summary
We are seeking an Automation Engineer PLC with 2 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, controls engineering, and automation system design. The engineer will support projects from controls design and programming through testing and onsite commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PLC programs and controls drawings for automation systems.
- Support development of Sequence of Operations (SoO).
- Perform controls hardware/product selection.
- Develop and maintain I/O lists and coordinate with SCADA teams.
- Create and execute functional test plans and perform bench/field testing.
- Troubleshoot PLC and controls-related issues.
- Support automation network architecture documentation.
- Maintain program backups, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Travel to customer/project sites for commissioning and functional testing.
Required Skills
- 2 5 years of PLC programming / Controls Automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of PLC-based control systems and controls design.
- Experience creating controls drawings and selecting automation components.
- Understanding of I/O, SCADA, Sequence of Operations, and industrial networks.
- Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning experience.
- Background in machinery, industrial equipment, or automation systems preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Automation Engineering, or related field/equivalent experience.
