Automation Engineer – Remote EST Hours, Located in Eastern USWe are currently seeking candidates for an Automation Engineer. The client provides a suite of innovative medical technology solutions that improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of care. This is a contract-to-hire role that pays $67-70/hr, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for owning, designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure automation solutions for Haemonetics' medical device software platforms. You will work closely with TechOps, SREs, Cloud Engineers, and Security teams to drive automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and reliability in a healthcare-regulated environment (FDA, HIPAA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).This role requires strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform, ensuring scalable, compliant, and secure cloud/on-prem infrastructure deployments.

Qualifications:- 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps in a medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry.
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience, encompassing infrastructure, automation, cloud, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Expertise with all AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Highly experienced with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, HIPAA, IEC 62304).
