Looking for an Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining automation, molding, and assembly systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Job Title : Automation Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues with automation, molding, and assembly equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Replace worn components and calibrate sensors and actuators.
- Support robotic equipment and auxiliary molding systems.
- Provide technical support to ensure smooth and reliable production.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment optimization.
- Maintain compliance with applicable ISO, FDA, and GMP standards.
