Automation Engineer
The Automation Engineer will:
- Manage small-scale projects or multiple tasks within the automation discipline.
- Collaborate closely with leaders and production operators to drive continuous improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve minor issues with current automation systems.
- Work with operators, technicians, and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues with minimal guidance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and system reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to implement procedures, address malfunctions, and provide technical support.
- Prioritize tasks and adjust workflow to meet evolving business needs independently.
- Produce schematics, blueprints, and work instructions for small to medium-scale projects.
- Source components and prepare detailed specifications for equipment and material purchases.
- Use computer-aided engineering and design tools to support automation projects.

The successful Automation Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience designing and building new automation
- Experience maintaining and fixing exciting systems
- Managing projects and working cross functionally
- Basic understanding of PLCs and how they work
