    Overview

    We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Horn Lake, MS, 38637. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our automation processes, ensuring efficiency and productivity across our operations.     Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix/Compactlogix PLC platform and RSLogix 5000 software package.
    • Act as first level escalation in troubleshooting support, both on-site and remotely, as well as during and after business hours, to repair all MHE controls software systems. Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning assistance as needed.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
    • Conduct testing and validation of automated systems to ensure reliability and performance.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot existing automation systems, providing timely resolutions to issues.
    • Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and systems.

    Qualifications

    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
    • Proven experience in automation engineering or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of automation tools and technologies.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
    • 2+ years of experience working with PLC programming, robotics system components and controls, and SCADA-based monitoring and control systems.
    • Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
