TradeWorX is hiring an experienced Automation & Controls Technician for a long-term opportunity in the Bridgeville, PA area. Join a growing industrial team supporting custom automation projects from system design through startup and commissioning. This role offers a combination of shop and field support with opportunities to expand your PLC, HMI, instrumentation, and industrial controls experience.

Pay & Overtime:

• $50 - 60hr/hour based on experience
• Overtime available based on project workload (40–50+ hours/week)

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• 6: 00 AM–2: 30 PM or 7: 00 AM–3: 30 PM

Job Duties:

• Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Emerson platforms.
• Develop and configure HMI applications using Red Lion Crimson or similar software.
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot industrial automation and control systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, control narratives, and project documentation.
• Configure and troubleshoot instrumentation, transmitters, sensors, relays, switches, and 4–20mA control loops.
• Support startup, commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, industrial networking, and field service activities.

Requirements:

• Industrial automation, controls, or instrumentation experience required.
• Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using a multimeter.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Must provide basic electrical hand tools.
