Complete Solution Robotics, an RMH Systems company, a premier systems integrator in Northern Colorado, is currently seeking a motivated Automation Controls Engineer. Some travel required, 25%-50%. CSR offers turnkey solutions to a diverse customer base.

Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer I
Location: Loveland, CO (Local Candidates Only)
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site / Some Travel Required, 25%-50%.
Remote or relocation candidates will not be considered.

The position involves all aspects of Control Systems Engineering, Information Systems development, and commissioning robotic systems, at the direction of an experienced Controls III Engineer. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of controls, engineering, PLC programming, and industrial robotics fundamentals. They will assemble, test, and service robots and other automation solutions. This includes mechanical setup, adjusting field devices, programming variable frequency drives, and testing communications within the system. Work will take place at our site in Loveland, CO, as well as at multiple customer sites, as needed. Our teams find opportunities to consult, design, and implement across all types of manufacturing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementation and programming of robots (we can teach this) and PLC automation systems.
  • Assist with project documentation.
  • Complete service engagements as directed by your manager, complete service tickets, and submit promptly after completion of work.
  • Troubleshoot and debug control systems, hardware, electrical, and programs.
  • Follow company standards and develop projects based on internal standards and customer standards.
  • Support the team for factory and site acceptance testing for automation solutions, including various tasks related to troubleshooting and performance testing.

Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering field, or a technical degree in Robotics and/or Automation.

  • 1-2 years of experience with PLC/HMI platforms. (Studio 5000, RS Logix 500)
  • Working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Safety-oriented attitude required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally. Typical travel 25% up to 50%
