    We’re looking for an Automation Engineer to design, implement, troubleshoot, and improve automated manufacturing processes and equipment in a high-volume production environment.

    This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll identify opportunities for automation, develop and program solutions, lead projects, and support the reliability and performance of automated manufacturing systems.

    What You’ll Do

    Automation & Controls

    • Identify opportunities to automate and improve manufacturing processes.
    • Design new automation equipment, systems, and processes.
    • Program and integrate automated components into manufacturing operations.
    • Work with PLC code, electrical schematics, and low- to medium-voltage equipment.
    • Simulate, test, validate, and troubleshoot automation systems before and after implementation.
    • Diagnose and resolve automation and equipment issues to keep production running efficiently.

    Engineering & Projects

    • Lead or support automation projects from concept through implementation.
    • Manage project teams when needed.
    • Develop technical documentation for new and modified equipment and processes.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for automation systems and processes.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new technology and process improvements.

    What You’ll Bring

    Required

    • Engineering degree with experience in a plant, technically similar role
    • Strong experience with automation design, validation, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficiency in reading and working with electrical schematics and PLC code.
    • Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment.
