The ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) Forklift Operator at Grassland Dairy Products is responsible for efficient material handling and product placement. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Verify quality control items such as product coding, packaging, sampling, etc.
- Responsible for organizing and rotating stock within FIFO guidelines.
- Communicate with dock personnel regarding ongoing organization of the warehouse.
- Communicate with inventory leadership regarding product placement and organization.
- Maintain proper documentation in all record-keeping formats.
- Perform forklift operations for the ASRS facility.
- Account for daily production totals and product placement.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved.
- Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
- Backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
