Shift Information

  • Multiple Shifts Available
  • Second Shift | Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Third Shift | Monday to Friday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience operating automated machining and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
  • CNC Basics certification or training
  • ABB / Fanuc Robots Operating certification or training

Preferred Experience

  • Apprenticeship training in manufacturing, machining, or a related technical field

Position Requirements

  • Working knowledge of automatic CNC centers and fully automatic assembly line machinery
  • Ability to perform quality inspections using manual gauges
  • Experience adjusting and changing cutting tools on CNC machines
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining and assembly line equipment to support continuous production
  • Ability to maintain accurate production, machine performance, and quality inspection records
  • Understanding of machining and assembly manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality parts
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Continuous improvement and an optimization mindset
  • Ability to work safely around machining and automated assembly equipment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP modules and design tools such as CAD, CAM, and CAE is preferred but not required

Main Responsibilities of the Automated Machining and Assembly Line Technician

  • Operate and monitor automatic CNC centers and fully automatic assembly line machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production of parts
  • Perform quality inspections of parts using manual gauges to verify compliance with production standards
  • Adjust and change cutting tools on CNC machines as required to maintain production efficiency and quality
  • Inspect assembled components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machining and assembly line equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal machine performance
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, maintenance personnel, and production team members to support process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records related to production output, machine performance, and quality inspections
  • Follow all workplace safety regulations, procedures, and manufacturing protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
