Responsibilities
- Convert existing 2D factory/layout drawings into detailed 3D models.
- Develop a 3D model of the factory using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
- Map the existing building and factory layout in 3D.
- Complete requested 3D factory modeling projects.
- 5+ years of CAD design/drafting or plant layout experience.
- Hands-on experience converting 2D industrial/facility drawings into 3D models.
- MUST -Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent 3D modeling software.
- MUST — Factory 3D modeling / digital twin experience, using Siemens Tecnomatix, Autodesk Factory Design Utilities, Dassault DELMIA Virtual Factory, or equivalent.
- MUST — Convert existing 2D factory layouts into accurate 3D factory models.
- MUST — Existing-building 3D modeling: walls/columns/structural features, production areas, equipment/layout, etc., rather than merely modeling individual mechanical components.
- Highly desired — Automotive manufacturing / Body-in-White (BIW) assembly-line layout experience.
- Ideal — AutoCAD + one of the factory-specific 3D platforms.
- High School Diploma required.
