Are you an AutoCAD Drafter looking for more than just drafting work? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing AV integration and workspace solutions team where you'll gain hands-on exposure to the design and implementation of cutting-edge technology in modern office environments.

We're looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD professional who wants to build a long-term career in Audio Visual (AV) Design. You'll work alongside experienced designers, engineers, and project teams while developing the technical and customer-facing skills needed to advance within the organization.

• Create and modify AutoCAD drawings for AV integration projects
• Support the design team by developing accurate system layouts and technical documentation
• Interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, and construction documents
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure project accuracy
• Maintain organized project files and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Learn AV system design concepts, standards, and industry best practices

• 1-3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
• Ability to read and understand architectural or engineering drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, or related drafting education preferred

This position is designed for someone who wants to develop into an AV Designer. You'll receive mentorship from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to AV technologies, system design, and integration workflows.

As your career progresses, you'll work more closely with clients and project stakeholders, making strong communication skills, professionalism, and a customer-focused mindset critical for success.

• Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, or similar design software
• Exposure to AV, low-voltage, electrical, or structured cabling environments
• Customer service, client-facing, or project coordination experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
