    A well-established international property & casualty insurance carrier is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Underwriter to join its growing underwriting team in Anaheim, CA.     Responsibilities:

    • Underwrite and manage a profitable portfolio of Commercial Auto accounts.
    • Evaluate new and renewal submissions, including risk characteristics, loss history, driver profiles, fleet exposures, and financial information.
    • Determine coverage terms, pricing, limits, and underwriting appetite based on company guidelines.
    • Analyze loss trends and risk factors to ensure profitable underwriting decisions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents, wholesalers, and brokers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including claims, marketing, and risk control to support business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for profitable growth within the assigned territory.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Commercial Auto underwriting experience required.
    • Strong understanding of commercial vehicle exposures, fleet underwriting, pricing, and risk selection.
    • Experience handling both new business and renewal accounts.
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain agency and broker relationships.
    • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
