Auto Repair Shop Manager Responsibilities & Duties
Oversee day-to-day operations of the auto repair shop, including scheduling, budgeting, and employee management
Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction by monitoring work performance and providing feedback to team members
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners
Implement and maintain safe and efficient working procedures and practices
Track and manage inventory levels and ensure the timely ordering of supplies and parts
Analyze financial data and make informed decisions to improve profitability and growth
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards and requirements
Bonus upon reaching set monthly goals
Auto Repair Shop Manager Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in auto repair or a related field
Previous technician experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with automotive shop management software
Ability to handle high-stress situations
Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Background in sales or business management
Certification from recognized automotive institutions
Fluency in more than one language
5+ years of experience in an auto repair shop management role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions
A deep understanding of the automotive industry and current repair techniques
