What Youll Do:- Assess and prioritize patient needs based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial factors
- Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and identify trends
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with Nursing Standards of Care
- Perform timely interventions and document procedures, including point-of-care testing
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, physicians, and patients
- Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in orienting new staff and contribute to a positive work environment
- Float to various Med/Surg departments as needed under the supervision of unit leadership
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code (grey scrubs) and EMR documentation in EPIC
What You Need:Required:- Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state
- BLS Certification via AHA
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility for weekend and on-call shifts
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Preferred:- Experience in Medical/Surgical units with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Ability to adapt to multiple units and contribute to team goals
- Demonstrated professionalism and a team-oriented attitude
