A Pennsylvania and New Jersey defense firm is hiring an insurance defense attorney for its North Jersey practice. You run your own caseload, with the firm behind you rather than over your shoulder.
The work: New Jersey automobile litigation for carriers and insureds: PIP, UM/UIM, verbal threshold and liability claims. Pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, arbitrations and trial preparation. Direct communication with carriers, adjusters and insureds.
Who fits: four to eight years of insurance defense practice. Admitted in New Jersey; Pennsylvania is a plus. Automobile litigation experience preferred. Able to manage a docket independently. The firm looks for entrepreneurial, client-focused attorneys who want a long-term home, and it offers mentorship, flexibility and professional development.
Pay: $135,000 to $165,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for the right background or portable business.
Based in the Jersey City office, with a flexible in-office schedule.
