Core Competencies
Competency | Proficiency Level | Why This Matters in This Role |
AI Literacy | Intermediate | The role uses AI-augmented document review, extraction, and exception-flagging tools (Tier 2) and is responsible for human-in-the-loop review on every output that affects a loan funding decision. |
Operational Discipline | Advanced | Every loan file must be audit-ready and free of disclosure, fee, rate, or LTV errors; documentation gaps create direct legal, compliance, and member-impact exposure. |
Attention to Detail | Advanced | Pre-audit accuracy directly drives redraw rates, funding speed, and compliance outcomes. |
Compliance Orientation | Advanced | TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, UDAAP, and CUTX lending policy are applied in daily work; errors have direct member and regulatory impact. |
Member Centricity | Intermediate | Accurate, timely closings directly affect member experience at a critical purchase moment; internal members (Specialists, branches) also depend on the Coordinator's service quality. |
Communication | Intermediate | The role coordinates with Specialists, internal departments, and occasionally members across phone, email, and document systems; clarity prevents downstream errors. |

In addition to the prohibited uses defined in the Generative AI Usage Policy §3.6, the following are specifically prohibited in this role:
- Using AI output as the sole basis for releasing a loan for funding or for any adverse member action.
- Entering member NPI (full account numbers, Social Security numbers, signed loan documents) into any AI tool not explicitly approved for that data classification.
- Using consumer AI tools to draft or modify member-facing legal disclosures or loan documents; these must originate from approved templates and follow established procedures.
