Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates
- Negotiate repair procedures and supplements with insurance adjusters
- Review repair plans with technicians and ensure labor operations are properly assigned
- Coordinate parts ordering and verify parts availability throughout the repair process
- Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance companies
- Schedule repairs and manage vehicle workflow
- Prepare final billing and close completed repair orders
- Assist with quality control inspections of completed repairs
- Communicate effectively with technicians, painters, parts personnel, insurance representatives, and customers
- Process supplements, authorizations, and repair documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and insurance guidelines
- Participate in ongoing industry and manufacturer training
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Appraiser License required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous collision estimating experience preferred
- Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and insurance processes
- Experience with estimate writing platforms and repair management systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
