Immediately Seeking! Auto Body Technician / Fabricator Location: Spencer, IA Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay: DOE Experience with disassembly, assembly and fabrication experience. Must be a self-starter. Experience with painting, paint correction, detailing, and/or PDR is desired.
Job Duties:
Restore and customize classic cars to original or enhanced specifications
Repair and restore bodywork, including fabricating and replacing panels
Install, align, and adjust body parts and panels to factory standards
Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, filling, priming)
Apply finishing touches with precision and quality
Collaborate with the team to identify and troubleshoot restoration issues
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Uphold the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in metalworking, welding, and fabrication techniques
Strong attention to detail and precision skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for classic cars and restoration
