    Job Overview

    Bailey's Automotive Services is looking for an experienced Automotive Collision Painter who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate has an eye for color, pays attention to detail, and works efficiently while maintaining OEM-quality standards.

    You will be responsible for preparing, mixing, matching, and applying automotive paint while working closely with our production team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and correctly.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of automotive collision painting experience
    • Minimum 2 years of automotive refinishing experience
    • Ability to accurately color match and blend adjacent panels
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Self-motivated, dependable, and honest
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
    • Own tools or ability to obtain required tools

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare vehicles and panels for paint
    • Mix and match paint colors
    • Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat
    • Blend adjacent panels for seamless color matches
    • Perform buffing and polishing as needed
    • Repair minor plastic components when necessary
    • May perform other services when needed or when necessary
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Follow OEM repair procedures and paint manufacturer recommendations
    • Communicate effectively with estimators, body technicians, and management
    • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Bailey's quality standards
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Physical Requirements

    • Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend throughout the workday
    • Lift up to 45 pounds
    • Work safely around paint materials, tools, and equipment
