Auto Auction Porter

Roadrunner Services is hiring a dependable Auto Auction Porter to support vehicle operations during auto auction sale days, primarily jump-starting vehicles by using a jump box.  This indoor/outdoor position is responsible for jump-starting vehicles using portable jump boxes and ensuring inventory is ready for sale.

Responsibilities:

·       Jump-start vehicles using a portable jump box.

·       Respond quickly to vehicles needing battery assistance.

·       Help keep auction operations running smoothly and on schedule.

·       Work safely outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

·       Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

·       Ability to walk and work outdoors for extended periods.

·       Dependable, punctual, and safety focused.

·       Automotive or auto auction experience is a plus, but not required.

·       Ability to stand and walk for minimum of 4 hours for duration of the auto auction sale. 

·       Ability to lift hoods and operate latches 

·       Ability to lift up to 50lb jump box repeatedly if mobile jump box is unavailable.

Pay Rate: $14 per hour

Wednesday 2pm until 6pm

*Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures
