Description
CFS has partnered with a boutique professional services firm to hire an Audit Specialist. This is a hybrid work schedule - 2 days/week in their Lexington, MA office with occasional travel to client sites throughout North America.
Salary: $85,000–$120,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Audit Specialist:
- Perform audit fieldwork and compliance testing across key financial areas
- Create detailed written reports documenting findings and recommending process enhancements
- Heavy use of Excel
- Frequent communication with clients and internal staff
Qualifications of the Audit Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of accounting or audit experience in either public accounting or private industry
- CPA or pursuit of certification preferred
- Outstanding technical skills, including advanced Excel
- Willingness to travel on occasion
