Audit Senior – Public Accounting

What You'll Do

• Lead audit engagements from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork, review, and completion.
• Perform and review audit procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple engagements, establish timelines, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Identify financial reporting risks, evaluate internal controls, and recommend process improvements.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members to support their technical and professional development.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and results to clients and firm leadership.
• Build strong client relationships while delivering responsive, high-quality service.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
• Experience with financial statement audits; employee benefit plan, nonprofit, governmental, or private company audit experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and audit software.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
