    Grayson & Associates, P.C. is a newly founded CPA firm launched in May 2026 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We serve clients across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on construction contractors and not-for-profit organizations, along with real estate, and manufacturing clients. As a growing firm, we are building a team of high-quality professionals and offer a genuine path to leadership, and ultimately partnership, for the right people. We are selectively growing an A+ client base and are looking to add one or two strong hires as we build out our audit and tax practices.This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Audit Senior, based in our Murfreesboro office (require at least 2–3 days per week in-office). We utilize CaseWare Working Papers and PPC methodology for our audit, review, and compilation engagements. This role is well suited to someone looking to take on in-charge responsibility on engagements and grow toward a Manager role, and eventually partnership, as our A&A practice expands. The ability to prepare tax returns is a plus, but not required for this position.Responsibilities:

    • Serve as in-charge senior on audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients in construction, not-for-profit, and other industries.
    • Prepare and review workpapers using CaseWare Working Papers and PPC methodology.
    • Supervise and review the work of audit staff and associates in the field.
    • Assist in evaluating internal controls and identifying areas of audit risk.
    • Help draft GAAP-basis financial statements and disclosures.
    • Communicate with clients during fieldwork to obtain information and resolve open items.
    • Prepare tax returns as needed (a plus, not required).

    Requirements:

    • CPA license, or actively pursuing CPA licensure (CPA-eligible / sitting for the exam).
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
    • 2–4 years of audit experience in public accounting.
    • Working knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
    • Experience with CaseWare Working Papers and PPC or similar methodology is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
