Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for financial analysis and problem-solving? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Permanent Audit Senior to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your in-depth understanding of GAAP and bank reconciliation to ensure the financial health of our organization. With a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and innovation, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Audit Senior, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks that are essential for our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing financial audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
2. Performing bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies swiftly and accurately.
3. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of financial statements and records.
4. Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
5. Identifying potential areas of financial risk and proposing effective mitigating strategies.
6. Providing insightful recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial auditing.
8. Training and mentoring junior auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Senior position will have a strong blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and leadership abilities. The required qualifications include:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing, with a strong focus on GAAP and bank reconciliation.
3. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing audit teams.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
