Description
As an Audit Manager you will oversees financial statement audits using technical expertise and leadership. Builds client relationships. Uses audit technology for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and supports multiple engagement teams to complete on-budget financial statement audits.
Listens and communicates with clients about expectations.
Resolves technical and service issues quickly.
Trains and supervises less experienced colleagues with regular feedback.
Acts as proactive problem solver and business adviser on improvements.
Teams on proposals and business development.
Works at client sites, office, or remotely with team flexibility.
Represents firm at recruiting and networking events.
Builds skills through formal training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years progressive public accounting experience with mid-sized to large firm.
Active CPA license.
Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities.
Exposure to automation and digitization tools in audits.
Willingness to travel (25% expected).
