    Compensation: $120,000–$170,000 Base + Performance Bonus + Partner Track Opportunity

    The Opportunity

    As an Audit Manager, you'll serve as a key leader within the Assurance practice, overseeing engagement teams, strengthening client relationships, managing project profitability, and helping drive strategic growth initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assurance Engagement Leadership

    • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
    • Supervise fieldwork, engagement execution, and final deliverables
    • Review workpapers and ensure quality standards are maintained
    • Monitor engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and profitability
    • Communicate critical engagement developments to firm leadership

    Client Advisory & Relationship Management

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and executive leadership teams
    • Advise organizations regarding financial reporting, operational risks, and regulatory matters
    • Help clients navigate complex accounting and audit-related challenges
    • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
    • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings

    Technical Accounting & Assurance

    • Apply advanced knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting standards
    • Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
    • Draft and review financial statements and disclosures
    • Research technical accounting matters and prepare consultation memorandums
    • Communicate new accounting standards and regulatory changes to clients

    Internal Controls & Risk Assessment

    • Evaluate client control environments and financial reporting processes
    • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls
    • Identify risks and recommend practical solutions
    • Present recommendations to management and governing boards
    • Support clients in strengthening compliance and reporting processes

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Supervise Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development support
    • Review work product and deliver constructive feedback
    • Assist with staff development, recruiting, and retention efforts
    • Build and develop future firm leaders

    Practice Growth & Business Development

    • Participate in networking and business development initiatives
    • Strengthen and grow existing client relationships
    • Contribute to proposal development and client pursuits
    • Support firm growth strategies and market expansion efforts
    • Help drive the continued success of the Assurance practice

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Active CPA license
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
    • 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
    • Significant supervisory and engagement management experience
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Proven client relationship management abilities
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
