    Compensation: $120,000 - $155,000 Base + Performance Bonus Opportunities

    Our client, a respected and growing public accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Audit Services team.

    The Opportunity

    As an Audit Manager, you'll oversee engagements from planning through completion while serving as a primary point of contact for clients and engagement teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    Audit Engagement Leadership

    • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm quality standards
    • Review workpapers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables
    • Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
    • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously

    Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
    • Build and maintain long-term trusted advisor relationships
    • Communicate engagement findings and recommendations
    • Identify opportunities to expand client services
    • Deliver exceptional responsiveness and client service

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Supervise Staff Auditors and Senior Auditors
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance
    • Review staff work and provide developmental feedback
    • Assist in staff training and professional growth initiatives
    • Foster collaboration and accountability across engagement teams

    Practice Management

    • Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables
    • Ensure efficient utilization of firm resources
    • Support engagement profitability goals
    • Assist with client proposals and business development initiatives
    • Participate in firm leadership and strategic growth efforts

    Technical Excellence

    • Facilitate resolutions on complex audit and accounting matters
    • Stay current on professional standards and regulatory developments
    • Apply sound professional judgment to client situations
    • Promote quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout engagements

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
    • Active CPA license
    • 5+ years of public accounting experience
    • Previous audit leadership or supervisory experience
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS
    • Experience managing client engagements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management and organizational abilities

    Preferred

    • Master's Degree in Accounting or related discipline
    • Experience serving nonprofit organizations, professional services firms, or technology clients
    • Business development experience
    • Experience mentoring and developing professional staff
