We are currently seeking an Audit Manager or Supervisor to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growing organization within the Accounting and Finance industry. The Permanent Audit Manager will be responsible for leading the audit process, managing audit teams, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable auditing standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, financial reporting, and software utilization, with a proven ability to mentor, plan, and evaluate team performance.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the audit process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable auditing standards.
2. Develop and implement audit plans, managing the execution and evaluation of these plans to ensure the achievement of financial objectives.
3. Supervise and mentor audit team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development.
4. Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
5. Utilize auditing software to streamline the auditing process and increase efficiency.
6. Collaborate with other managers and team members to identify and implement best practices in auditing.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in auditing standards to ensure continual compliance and improvement.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency in the auditing process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
3. Thorough understanding of GAAP and other applicable auditing standards.
4. Proven experience in leading and managing audit teams.
5. Strong financial reporting skills, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
6. Proficiency in auditing software and other relevant technology.
7. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to foster a positive team environment.
8. Strong planning and evaluation skills, with an ability to develop and implement effective audit plans.
9. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with external auditors and stakeholders.
10. Commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on identifying and implementing process improvements.
