Our client, a regional public accounting firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Audit and Assurance Senior Accountant to join its team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and public accounting, demonstrate excellent professional communication skills, and possess the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Perform detailed reviews of financial statements and related documentation.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior audit staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address audit-related inquiries and provide insightful recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or pursuit of CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit and public accounting.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
