Job Overview:
The Treasury Operations department is seeking an organized and self-motivated Audit Analyst I to perform cash control functions. This role involves executing cash and banking control activities, ensuring compliance with SOX 404 requirements, and providing administrative support within the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management expertise. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform controls around vendor/customer banking information by conducting callbacks and validating requested changes.
• Complete daily interface controls to ensure all systems function as expected.
• Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly cash controls to ensure accurate transaction recording and fraud prevention.
• Perform daily matching of book records to bank transactions using Treasury reconciliation software.
• Research and resolve issues or exceptions arising from daily matching activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with management and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support the unclaimed property process, including report preparation, payment requests, and responding to customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide support to internal users on Treasury processes.
• Offer various types of administrative accounting support.
• Interface with internal and external auditors regarding the company's cash controls.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Handle and safeguard cash records and confidential information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Strong understanding of effective control models, particularly related to cash safeguarding under SOX 404 requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in cash control functions, bank reconciliations, and regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Treasury reconciliation software and related tools is a plus.
