Position Overview:
RieLes Group is seeking two Audiology Technicians to support occupational health and hearing conservation activities at Hill Air Force Base, Utah
The Occupational Medicine Services clinic supports a large federal, military, and tenant workforce. The audiology function works closely with the 75 OMRS Audiology Flight and other occupational health personnel to support annual hearing surveillance and workplace hearing conservation activities
Key Responsibilities:
Support annual audiology surveillance examinations for civilian, Active Duty, and qualified tenant personnel
Coordinate with the Audiology department in support of hearing conservation requirements
Assist with scheduling and coordination of hearing examinations across work sites
Support hearing conservation activities in accordance with applicable military and OSHA requirements
Maintain and track hearing conservation program information
Assist with accurate updating of occupational health records and rosters in systems such as ASIMS and MHS GENESIS, as applicable
Support pre-deployment and post-deployment hearing examinations
Communicate with patients and supervisors regarding scheduled appointments
Provide appointment reminders and assist with rescheduling as necessary
Ensure patients are reminded to bring required personal protective equipment (PPE) for hearing-related assessments and education
Work collaboratively with audiologists, hearing conservation personnel, Public Health, Bioenvironmental Engineering, medical staff, and clerical personnel
Assist with maintaining efficient audiology and occupational health clinic workflow
Perform other duties within the scope of audiology/occupational health support as assigned
The SOW specifically describes coordination of approximately 6,000 annual audiology surveillance appointments, tracking hearing conservation data, supporting deployment-related hearing exams, and coordinating with audiology and other medical personnel
Qualifications:
The provided SOW identifies the Audiology Technician as a required staffing category but does not provide a separate detailed minimum education/certification standard for an "Audiology Technician." Therefore, candidates should be evaluated against the specific qualifications established by the Government for this labor category during recruitment and credentialing
The SOW's detailed audiology support position is the MRC Audiology Clinic Clerk, for which the document specifies:
High school education or equivalent business/vocational education
Six months of general office and/or appointment clerk experience
Healthcare facility experience preferred
Current BLS certification
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with medical terminology and occupational health processes
Familiarity with MHS GENESIS, ASIMS, and related systems is beneficial
Preferred Experience:
Audiology or hearing-conservation support experience
Experience in a military, federal, occupational health, or healthcare environment
Familiarity with hearing conservation programs
Experience working with electronic medical records

Work Environment:
This is an onsite position at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, supporting an integrated government/contract Occupational Medicine clinic
Personnel are expected to work collaboratively with medical providers, audiologists, hearing conservation personnel, Public Health, Bioenvironmental Engineering, and other clinic staff
Credentialing & Security:
Contract healthcare personnel are subject to applicable installation requirements, including:
Background screening
Tier 1 (T1) background investigation
Favorable suitability determination
Required installation access procedures
Current BLS certification where applicable to the assigned position
