    About Us:

    New England ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery is seeking to hire an Audiology Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic team of Audiology professionals. We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment procedures in a wide range of services. Our highly trained team of professionals will help patients of all ages with their hearing healthcare needs. Our practice is well-established and has been in the community for over 30 years. The hours are Monday – Friday -8AM-4:30PM in North Andover, MA.

    Position Summary:

    As an Audiology Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our audiologists and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in both a clinical and technical environment. The Audiology Assistant is responsible for assisting with patient visits, hearing aid preparation, deliveries, and maintenance, inventory management and practice management tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare hearing aid deliveries prior to patient appointments by verifying devices, programming information, accessories, and required documentation.

    • Assist the audiologist during hearing aid fittings and deliveries, ensuring patients receive a positive and efficient experience.

    • Educate patients on the care, maintenance, cleaning, and operation of their hearing aids and accessories.

    • Counsel patients on hearing aid warranties, routine maintenance, and available hearing aid accessories.

    • Perform hearing aid maintenance, including cleaning devices, replacing wax guards, domes, receivers, tubing, earmolds, battery doors, and other replaceable components.

    • Troubleshoot common hearing aid concerns, including weak or dead devices, charging issues, Bluetooth connectivity, feedback (whistling), static, and smartphone pairing.

    • Coordinate manufacturer repairs, warranty services, device orders, and deliveries.

    • Manage hearing aid inventory, including receiving, stocking, tracking, assigning, and maintaining accurate device records.

    • Process invoices for hearing aids, accessories, assistive listening devices, and clinical supplies.

    • Complete patient visit documentation, chart notes, and maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system.

    • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and support audiologists with daily clinical and administrative operations.

    • Perform other duties as assigned to support exceptional patient care and practice operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Must match qualifications for MA licensure as an Audiology Technician.

    Experience & Skills:

    • Experience in an audiology, ENT.

    • Proficiency with electronic practice management systems (a plus).

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
