Audiologist 

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office 
Location: Traveling in North Carolina: Concord, Lexington, and Winston Salem Area

 

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our in-office clinical team.Enjoy variety in your practice while making a meaningful impact across multiple communities. This role includes travel to nearby HearingLife clinics within the local market, providing coverage, supporting patients, and collaborating with a network of dedicated hearing care professionals. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and travel schedules are planned in advance whenever possible to promote work-life balance.This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards 
  • Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care 
  • Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance 
  • Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations 
  • Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices 
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development 
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals 
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching 
  • Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance 
  • Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results 
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner

Qualifications:
  • Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements
