Court Name/Organization Georgia Northern District Court Overview of the Position The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia is accepting applications for an audio/visual assistant. The incumbent performs technical work associated with courtroom audio/visual systems and supports the courtroom technology specialist in coordinating and troubleshooting courtroom and conferencing systems throughout the district. The position supports the effective operation of audio, video, evidence presentation, videoconferencing, and related courtroom technology systems throughout the district. The incumbent also provides general information technology (IT) help desk and backup support and cross trains with information technology staff to assist with broader technical support needs when courtroom audio/visual support is not required. The position is based in Atlanta but requires occasional travel to the Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome courthouses.
