    • Strong understanding of acoustics, electroacoustic measurement, signal flow, and microphone functionality, selection, and placement.
    • Hands-on fluency with acoustic test equipment and software (e.g. Audio Precision APx, Klippel, Bru el & Kjær,SoundCheck) and with HATS/manikins and artificial ears for on-device and on-ear measurement.
    • Working knowledge of speech-enhancement algorithms — multi-microphone beamforming, adaptive noise

    Minimum Requirements
    • BS or MS in acoustics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education
    • and experience.
    • 3+ years of hands-on acoustic measurement experience in controlled laboratory settings.
    • Demonstrated experience with audio signal processing and objective audio/speech quality evaluation.
    • On-site in Redmond, WA is required — the work is lab-dependent.
    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior work on multi-microphone speech enhancement for wearable devices.
    • Experience with prototype hardware devices and with designing or commissioning acoustic lab spaces.
    • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
