    Our client is a Fortune 500 digital media company that is a recognized leader in audiobooks, podcasts, and audio entertainment.
    They are now looking to add to their team and hire an "Audio Content Associate Manager. This role will be 100% remote

    Description:
    The Audio Content Associate Manager supports the client's Studios NA production team by overseeing day-to-day post-production operations across a high volume of concurrent projects. This is a supervisory contractor role focused on guiding Production Coordinators, facilitating communication with creative stakeholders, and making independent decisions on production and post-production workflows. The Associate Manager reduces operational bottlenecks so team leads can focus on strategy and creative direction.
    This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, escalating to team leads as needed, and adapts to the complexity of each project.


    Core Responsibilities
    Post-Production Oversight

    " Oversee Production Coordinator day-to-day post-production tasks
    " Oversee traffic management of post-production projects
    " Oversee Production Coordinator assignments of post resources to new projects
    " Develop complex post-production timelines based on provided templates
    " Manage several audio delivery workflows
    " Track due dates from recording through final delivery; reassess and adjust schedules if needed to ensure content releases successfully and on time


    Quality Control & Decision-Making
    " Weigh in on 1st and 2nd QC results and determine best courses of action
    " Evaluate recorded audio for quality and provide guidance on audio issues found during post-production
    " Perform simple edits and master/mixes on an as-needed basis


    Communication & Stakeholder Management
    " Communicate with internal teams on post-production assignments and progress
    " Communicate directly with partner studios on deliverables and issues
    " Provide production reporting and updates to all stakeholders as requested, via email, speaking, and reporting
    " Attend regular planning meetings and scrums with internal teams


    Additional Support
    " Assist with post-production of the client's Studios audiobooks and other productions as needed


    Minimum Required Skills
    " 3-5 years' experience coordinating production in an audiobook, podcast, or music environment
    " 3-5 years' experience in a professional, commercial audiobook, podcast, or music environment
    " Excellent listening skills for audio
    " Strong business correspondence skills, especially with email
    " Strong people skills in working with a variety of personalities
    " Strong Microsoft Excel and database management skills
    " Demonstrated strong judgment assessing audio quality and content
    " Demonstrated organizational skills


    Preferred Additional Skills
    " 1-2 years' experience in audio post-production (editing)
    " 1-2 years' experience in audio production (recording, mixing)
    " Strong knowledge of at least one foreign language

    Qualifications Context
    Strong email correspondence, professional communication, and organization are key to this role. Audio education and experience are a plus, preferably with spoken word, but music is certainly acceptable. It is imperative that the Associate Manager has a strong command of the English language and its grammatical construct beyond that of common usage. This combination of skills is most often found in those who have experience in communications, a theater background, or who have studied literature. Strong knowledge of foreign languages and cultures is a significant plus.
