    SUMMARY: This is an entry-level position that is responsible for the presentation of consignment items, which includes sorting, imaging, cleaning, labeling, data entry, and some heavy lifting.


    LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

    COMPENSATION: Compensated based on experience.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Pre-auction tasks
      • Enter item information into the computer system accurately
      • Ensure all items are imaged promptly
      • Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction
      • Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting
    • Post-auction tasks
      • Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with established procedures
      • Ship orders immediately after auctions.
      • Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received
    • Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues
    • Other duties may be assigned
    Requirements:

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma required
    • General knowledge of paper money
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
    • Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
    • Individuals must be comfortable lifting to 50 pounds

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment; hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; able to work overtime as needed during peak seasons. This is a non-traveling position; all work will occur at Heritage Auctions headquarters.
