Associate Attorney – Real Estate
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Overview:
A large, well-established Salt Lake City law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate practice group. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of law firm experience handling commercial real estate and land use matters.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on acquisition, disposition, development, management, and leasing of residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial properties
- Handle transactions from initial contract through closing, including due diligence, title, survey, and zoning review
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents
- Work directly with clients, providing solutions with minimal supervision
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of commercial real estate and land use experience in a law firm setting
- Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and property development
- Excellent academic credentials and commitment to ethics
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Member of the Utah Bar or willing to obtain Utah Bar membership
