Job Details
Responsibilities
Manage and assist with all phases of civil litigation matters.
Defend clients in a variety of litigation areas, including:
Personal Injury
Premises Liability
Products Liability
Transportation Litigation
Habitability Defense
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Review and analyze documents for relevance, responsiveness, and privilege.
Participate in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case strategy development.
Attend court hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.
Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Develop litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
U.S. work authorization.
3-7 years of litigation experience.
Experience handling one or more of the following:
Personal Injury Defense
Premises Liability
Products Liability
Transportation Litigation
Habitability Defense
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong oral advocacy and communication skills.
Knowledge of California civil procedure and court filing requirements.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Willingness to travel periodically as needed.
