Job Details

Responsibilities
Manage and assist with all phases of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents.
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
Handle written discovery, document review, and production.
Take and defend depositions.
Participate in court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Manage case files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active admission to both the New York and Connecticut bars is required.
3+ years of commercial litigation experience preferred.
Experience handling matters in state and federal courts.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
Ability to independently manage case responsibilities while working collaboratively with a team.
Exceptional communication and client service skills.
Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
