Overview

We are seeking an Attorney – Fee Motion to prepare and advocate for attorney-fee motions in litigation matters. You will develop well-supported filings, manage case materials, and communicate with clients and legal teams. Your work will help clients understand fee-related issues and support clear, effective court submissions.

Duties

• Draft, review, and refine fee motions, supporting declarations, and related legal documents.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw, including statutory and procedural research; verify authorities and deadlines.
• Organize case records, deposition materials, and evidence; support litigation strategy, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Communicate with clients, counsel, and court personnel; apply negotiation and legal advocacy skills as appropriate.
• Your impact: Clear, well-supported motions help clients and courts assess fee requests efficiently and on a sound legal record.

Qualifications

• Required: Attorney qualification and law office experience, with strong legal writing, research, drafting, case management, and client communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in litigation, legal motion preparation, procedural law, contract drafting, and general or commercial litigation; personal injury case experience is relevant.
• Preferred experience may include employment law case experience, court depositions, and knowledge of personal injury, employment, estate planning, environmental, immigration, landlord-tenant, family, securities, workers’ compensation, tribal, or patent law.
• Familiarity with legal counsel, legal administrative work, and legal negotiation is valued.
