Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery, pleadings, and motion practice.
- Represent the firm and its clients in court appearances, delivering compelling oral arguments.
- Handle depositions, arbitrations, and mediations effectively.
- Develop and implement robust case strategies to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Manage all aspects of case management, including maintaining organized and up-to-date case files.
- Provide legal counsel and advice to clients, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless execution of legal duties and responsibilities.
- Keep abreast of current legislation, court decisions, and industry trends to effectively advise clients and represent their interests.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Associate, Trial Lawyer, or similar role.
- Proven experience in civil litigation, deposition, motion practice, oral argument, court appearances, arbitration, mediation, and trial.
- Proficient in case strategy development, case management, pleadings, and discovery.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive oral arguments and build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Unwavering commitment to ethical practices and professional standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High level of resilience, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
