Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Attorney with

4–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience , including trial experience, to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, represent clients in complex insurance defense matters, and collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and liability claims.

Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.

Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.

Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.

Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to develop effective case strategies.

Negotiate settlements when appropriate while advocating for clients' best interests.

Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.

Stay informed of legal developments, statutes, and regulations affecting insurance defense litigation.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and active membership in good standing.

4–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience, including trial experience.

Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and ethical standards.
