    Description

    Title:   Attorney - Insurance Coverage (Hybrid in Charlotte area)
    Location: Charlotte, NC 
    Compensation: $140K-$180K - DOE
     

    About Us:

    Our client, an AV-rated civil litigation firm is seeking an Attorney, who is NC and/or SC licensed to join our Charlotte office in our First-Party Property Coverage practice group. This team handles complex first-party property matters at all stages, including pre-suit coverage analysis and litigation.  With 40+ years of experience and many offices across the nations with 130+ attorneys, the firm provides strong career advancement opportunities, including a well-defined path to partnership and potential equity ownership for growth-oriented attorneys.

     

    What You’ll Do:

    • First-party property claims and insurance coverage
    • Defensing depositions of experts, fact witnesses, and parties
    • Attending court hearings, mediations, and participating in trial preparation
    • Handling matters related to liability claims

    You should know some of the following:

    • A minimum of two years of relevant experience who is eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
    • Exceptional writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
    • Strong time management and communication abilities

    • A collaborative, team-first attitude
    • The ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent matters effectively
    • Experience handling first-party property coverage disputes, including, but not limited to, policy analysis, EUO’s, depositions, drafting of pleadings and motions, mediations
