Attorney I is a permanent, full-time position used by various agencies. Employees in this classification may serve as counsel for a department having moderately difficult legal work; or as a member of a legal staff with responsibility for legal programs which may involve the supervision or oversight of a staff to include clerical and technical personnel and other legal professionals.
