Description
Location: West LA
Pay Range: $200K - $275K+ bonus for each case settled
- Compensation will depend on direct elder abuse experience, litigation and trial background, and overall qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 5+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Direct experience handling California elder abuse and dependent adult matters
- Plaintiff-side experience is strongly preferred
- Nursing home, assisted living, rehabilitation facility, and healthcare abuse/neglect matters
- Wrongful death and serious injury cases involving elderly or dependent adults
- Ability to independently manage cases from intake through resolution
- Strong experience with complaints, pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Experience working with medical records, medical experts, investigators, and other experts
- Hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trial experience
- Strong case valuation, negotiation, and litigation strategy skills
- Excellent client communication and case-management skills
