We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with 1–3 years of experience in personal injury and/or civil litigation to join our growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cases while continuing to develop litigation and courtroom skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury matters and be comfortable managing cases through various stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and court appearances.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle civil litigation matters, with a focus on personal injury cases (auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, etc.)Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, demand packages, and legal correspondenceConduct legal research and develop case strategiesManage written discovery, document review, and case file developmentTake and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and expertsParticipate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and case evaluationsAttend court hearings, status conferences, and motion hearingsPrepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and exhibit managementCollaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case progression and client serviceQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of Michigan and in good standing1–3 years of experience in personal injury litigation and/or civil litigationStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery-related documentsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience handling plaintiff-side personal injury mattersExposure to insurance defense or bodily injury claims litigationExperience conducting or defending depositionsFamiliarity with medical records review, damages analysis, and case valuationExperience participating in mediations, settlement negotiations, or trial preparationCourtroom experience, including hearings and motion practice#J-18808-Ljbffr
