Attorney - Business Litigation
Established (15+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking an experienced Attorney for Business and Real Estate Litigation matters Hybrid in Los Angeles/El Segundo, CA!
An established firm based in El Segundo, CA with over 15 years in practice is seeking a Business and Real Estate Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid capacity in the El Segundo area!. This role will involve handling sophisticated commercial litigation, business disputes, commercial landlord defense, HOA disputes, real estate litigation, commercial lease disputes, pre-trial litigation, mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances while representing clients in complex business and real estate matters from pleadings through resolution.

Salary range: $190,000-$230,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
5+ years of commercial litigation, business litigation, or real estate litigation experience
Experience handling landlord, tenant, HOA, commercial lease, business dispute, and real estate litigation matters
Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, complaints, discovery, correspondence, briefs, and settlement documents
Experience taking and defending depositions involving parties, witnesses, experts, and business representatives
Experience appearing in court and handling motion practice
Experience participating in mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with partners and litigation teams
Strong written advocacy, oral advocacy, analytical, and client communication skills
Trial experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Handle commercial litigation, business litigation, real estate litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, HOA disputes, and related civil litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, complaints, discovery requests, discovery responses, briefs, and other litigation filings
Take and defend depositions involving parties, witnesses, experts, and business representatives
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, motions, and other litigation proceedings
Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
Manage discovery, document review, factual investigation, case assessment, and litigation strategy
Prepare matters for pre-trial proceedings, trial preparation, arbitration, settlement resolution, and related litigation milestones
Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, litigation updates, risks, deadlines, and resolution options
Work closely with partners and team members on plaintiff-side and defense-side commercial disputes
Represent commercial tenants, landlords, business owners, HOAs, and other real estate and business clients in litigation matters
