As the Surgical Services Attendant, you will be asked to assistwith patient care and sanitation in the Surgical Services Department under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs procedures relating to the basic care of the Surgical Services patient and also technical and ancillary duties related to patient care Maintains a clean and safe environment to insure safe and efficient operation of the unit Rotating weekend calls from 7am to 7pm EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required: High school diploma or equivalent required Handling weekend calls from 7am to 7pm (rotating schedule) is required. Preferred: At least one year prior OR Attendant experience or other related healthcare experience
